------------------------------------------------
Cheap Shots (east village)
140 1st Avenue, New York, NY‎ - (212) 254-6631‎

$6.50 Pitchers of patriot ale and $3 shots

whats is like?I like anything with the word "cheap" in the title. So I naturally love Cheap Shots. Lets see pitchers cost as much pints at most bars. The bartenders are hot and dance on the tables. the liquor and beer is cheap which attracts every kind of person you can imagine. They have Elvis on the juke box which makes cheap shots my newest favorite dive bar.
------------------------------------------------
Mona's (east village)
224 Avenue B, New York, NY‎ - (212) 353-3780‎
$2.25 mugs of Yungeling black and tan and $2.75 mugs off all other drafts.

whats it like? This is a classic Irish pub type dive. This bar can be hard to find because there is no Sign that says Mona's only an Irish flag above the door but once you find the place your in luck. There is a pool table and some great deals of draft beer.
------------------------------------------------

The Blarney Stone
710 3rd Ave
(between 44th St & 45th St)
New York, NY 10017
(212) 490-0457

Bud/bud light pitchers $7 dollars, $4 BIG GUYS (these drafts are seriously huge I estimate 24oz plus) Killains, Brooklyn, Samd Adams, Blue moon, Smithwicks, for $5 Guiness, Stella, Bass and Hoegarden. and the shots are Huge and cheap

whats is like? Glorious, This bar is just plain Glorious. Super cheap drinks, Awesome Irish bar tenders and is a oasis of cheap booze in a super expensive neighborhood. Lots of TV's so it's a great place to watch the game. oh, did i mention they make great food too, You'll see cops come in and order a puled pork and we all know the NYPD dose not screw around when it comes to food.

627 9th Avenue
New York, NY 10036-3702

79 E 7th St (1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue)
New York, NY 10003

"The Dirty Hipster" $5 dollar PBR and a shot of Jager. and similar deals

What's It Like? Blue and Gold Tavern's booze menu is organized by price "this is what you get for $3" which I'm a fan of cause i hate letting the bartender know im poor when i ask what's the cheapest beer. The crowd is young and wears tighter jeans and bigger glasses than you.
-----------------------------------------------
McSorley's Old Ale House
15 East 7th Street
New York, NY 10003-8001
(212) 473-9148

$5 dollars for two mini Mugs of beer

Not only is McSorleys the oldest bar in new york it's also one of the cheapest. The place starting getting New Yorkers sloshed in 1854 has been doing a fine job ever since. First oh all this is not like any other bar you have been to ever. If you order a bug light the bar tender will say "not here". McSorley's only severs Light and Dark beer that's all. You can only order beers in pairs and if you don't drink fast enough you will be thrown out. I'm not kidding. It gets super crowed so either get to McSorleys early or come on a weekday.
----------------------------------------

New York, NY 10019

Plus if you want to show off (my favorite past time) you can order a tower of beer for $30 bucks which is a giant tube of beer that sits on your table so you look like a King. They have about million HD Tv's so this is a great place to watch the game. so Log off the internet and meet me at dollar shot beer now.
